A page of five-star quotes tells you very little. These are the three things clients have genuinely pushed back on, and what we changed in response.

Fair. We now send a written note at the end of every stage, whether or not there is something to demo — including when the honest update is “still on the API”.
“The estimate was optimistic.”
Also fair, twice in 2024. Scopes now carry a named buffer for third-party integrations, because that is where the time actually goes.
“Too much technical detail.”
Handover documents are now written in two layers: a one-page summary for whoever owns the budget, and the detail underneath for whoever owns the code.
